LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN
CALL FOR ACTION: Canadian women harmed from breast implants
.. reposting for those who haven’t seen it. We need as many ladies to write letters as we can get! Thank you to those who have already written letters.
Breast Implant Failure & Illness Society – Canada has launched a letter writing campaign.
We are calling on Health Canada to do a better job protecting Canadian women’s safety in regard to breast implants.
To this end, Nathan Cullen, Member of Parliament for Skeena – Bulkley Valley, is creating a bill.
We ask that you write a letter to the Health Minister, Honorable Jane Philpott, and ‘cc’ Nathan Cullen. You can also ‘cc’ your own MP requesting support for Nathan. Please make your voice heard!
Family members of women harmed and concerned citizens are also invited to write letters in support.
With tens of thousands of women that have been harmed from their implants gathering on social media forums we feel the time is more optimal than at any other point in the history of breast implants to bring changes that better protect women’s safety and health in regard to these high risk devices!
Women must be FULLY INFORMED regarding the risks associated with breast implants, including the ingredients used in them. Women have a right to know what they’re putting in their body and the possible consequences!
It’s unacceptable that hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of women have been harmed through having breast implants and are used as unwitting human guinea pigs.
Your letter you can be as detailed or brief as your energy permits. There is a generic letter template available for those who would prefer that option. The point is to make sure the Health Minister hears from us. I hope she will be inundated with letters! Please let’s do all we can to hold Health Canada to account! Together we can make this happen!
