At the time the photo (wearing belly dance costume) was taken I’d long ago developed the listed complications, and more not listed. My breasts had the telltale look of being fake and misshapen. I see it all the time in photos in the media. Images that are supposed to be glamorizing large breasts, but if one is ‘seeing with awareness’ it’s easy to spot the unnaturally rounded, defined edge of the implants, especially if there’s capsular contracture. Anyone familiar with breast implants can spot them a mile away. There is nothing glamorous or ‘sexy’ about the destructive changes going on inside the chest wall! There are ALWAYS destructive changes and ALL breast implants FAIL.
Photos of my implants with telltale signs of capsular contracture and other destructive changes within my chest wall:
As is typical in photos of women with implants, most notably in the media, implants can sit as ‘events’ on top of a woman’s chest. They shouldn’t be glamorized, they should be called-out (‘they’ being implants) for the damage they’re doing within. If you see a photo of someone with implants that look like this you can know inside the chest wall things are looking pretty gnarly.
