I live in a remote community in Northwestern British Columbia, Canada. I became ill from badly ruptured silicone breast implants, and after learning of the number of women still being implanted in this region I felt compelled to speak up. As a result, my breastimplantfailure blog and celebrateyourbreasts project were borne. I was explanted in 2013 and am still on a healing journey.

Thank you for your wonderful posts!… I’m talking with a producer to see if we can get a world class documentary sorted and he’d be in touch with you for your perspective and information no doubt!… Love and hugs, yes the journey is long to recovery… I’m recently damaged and explanted, suffering loss of lymph nodes, 8 left side and 5 the other and lower scars etc despite having one of our best surgeons in NZ… I’m outraged and heartbroken too for the NON informed consent we gave… So intend like you to act upon it for the protection of our girls in schools etc, I want a mass media production made!… Contact me if you like! Thank you so much for such great feedback! I would be very happy to speak to the producer and help in any way I can. I’m sorry you’ve been impacted by this also … it’s heartbreaking. I will advocate this issue as long as I’m on this earth! It’s great that so many of us are coming together now through social media … there’s no putting out this fire now (FDA / MHRA / Health Canada)! Bless you for helping. I will email you! xxx
