Women can’t make a truly informed decision if they don’t know what they’re putting in their body. Breast implants contain a cocktail of toxic ingredients. There should be ingredient labelling.

I live in a remote community in Northwestern British Columbia, Canada. I became ill from badly ruptured silicone breast implants, and after learning of the number of women still being implanted in this region I felt compelled to speak up. As a result, my breastimplantfailure blog and celebrateyourbreasts project were borne. I was explanted in 2013 and am still on a healing journey.

Absolutely! I felt so angry when I found out these could be the cause of my children’s issues!… How much have they stolen and damaged?… I never would have implanted if they’d told me what was in them, or shown me pics of common Explant jobs, or how they break up!… I’m explanting in 3 days time… Good riddance!… Goodbye poisons, goodbye low self esteem!… Hello me! Hello wellness and love and self acceptance!… Even at the cost and damage they may cause getting them out!… I’ll wear my scars proudly, as if to say… Look, I survived that battle…and won! 😉 Love to all the strong once beaten down women, who are beautiful from the inside out, and unique as we were meant to be! Girls feet were crushed in China, we gasp and shake our heads … Women’s Breasts are cut up in the western world and we take photographs and envy them?!… It’s a sick world!… 😉
